RAHIMA KHOJA
To inform, inspire, and ignite is Rahima’s goal as she explores the realm of mindset growth with her students. Shortly after her graduation from the University of Calgary, Rahima relocated to South Africa, where her remarkable journey in the field of education began. Her post graduate studies in Early Childhood Development led her to further develop her ardent passion for children and education. Her international teaching experience led her to teach children from diverse backgrounds and cultures. With a strong foundation of over 15 years of teaching experience, Rahima’s desire to extend and educate beyond traditional teaching methods and subjects led her to launching Invincible Kids, implementing creative educational approaches and innovative learning techniques. Now residing in Calgary, Alberta, Rahima continues to focus upon helping children to develop a growth mindset of positivity, success, and confidence. Rahima strives to lead our children to be humans of integrity, compassion, and strength, thereby developing their full potential.
“I am extremely passionate about DEVELOPING the youthful minds of our future, to inspire young people to develop a strong love for themselves and others, to lead them to be humans of integrity and compassion, and to guide them in the expansion of their full potential. It is my goal to empower every child I teach, to help them see their inner greatness, and to support them in achieving their goals with confidence!”
What is Invincible Kids?
Learning at Invincible Kids is all about mindset training – teaching kids how to use the power of their mind and the power of their thoughts to:
- Handle the ups and downs of growing up without getting down on themselves or giving up on themselves
- Create happiness and success regardless of their circumstances
- Think for themselves and make good decisions
- Go for their dreams and make them happen
Through our training, we teach kids how their mind works – they learn about the power of their conscious mind and subconscious mind, and how belief systems shape who they are and what they create in their lives. They learn how to develop supportive belief systems based on possibility and recognize and shift limiting beliefs. They also learn how to use powerful tools such as positive self-talk and visualization to create neural pathways for success, and so much more.
This isn’t your typical, “how to get your kids to behave” training. It’s about teaching kids how to be self-leaders in their lives so that they can create a happy, fulfilling life regardless of their circumstances. Think of it as personal development for kids!
Life coaching isn’t just for kids who are facing challenges or problems. Helping kids learn how to reach their fullest potential is about personal development and personal empowerment, so that they will be ready to face any challenge that comes their way. They can use the skills they learn for the rest of their lives!
Why Do We Use Stories?
- Stories are powerful.
- Stories are a great tool to start a conversation with kids.
- Stories help kids get in touch with thoughts and feelings.
- Through these powerful stories, children can see the skills in action, which opens the door for them to apply the skills to their own situations.
- Stories have the power to transform and inspire, and shape how we feel about ourselves, and what is possible for our lives.
